In an effort to improve wait times and traffic during the exciting periods of orientation and resident move-in, the University Police Department will be controlling many of the roadways and parking areas starting Wednesday, August 24 and continuing through Wednesday, August 31. Please Note: Some lots you use regularly may be closed; some roadways may be rerouted at times. View a Printable Version of the Map.

Extra Time Encouraged!

It is strongly recommended that you leave enough time for traffic both on and off campus as delays can happen. Police Officers will be highly visible in the roadways directing traffic and we ask for your cooperation with our operations. Our goal is simply to get you to the destination on campus in an efficient manner. Please seek the help of the myriad of other staff for questions related to personal needs for either orientation or resident move in.

Orientation and Move-in Traffic

Traffic operations starting Wednesday, August 24 and through Wednesday, August 31 will be geared towards students moving into Residential facilities as well as those attending orientation. The Police Department can only ask for your continued patience and cooperation during this exciting time for our students as we get them safely and efficiently through these events. If you will be on campus on these dates you may see delays on approach to the Red Hawk Deck, some surface lots may be closed for staging and some roadways may be alternated. We urge you to consider if you do not have the need to be on campus that you defer to other times if at all possible.
