Launch of the 2019 – 2020 Managerial Evaluation and Reappointment Process

Effective today, the 2019 – 2020 reappointment calendar and reappointment form for Managers are available on the Human Resources website.

Managers are evaluated for reappointment annually. Managers who are approved for reappointment by the President following the calendar below are reappointed for the July 01, 2019 – June 30, 2020 period.

Please note, the first step in the process is for managerial employees to submit their self-evaluations to their supervisor no later than January 15, 2019.

Please note the following for the 2019 – 2020 process:

  • The evaluation and reappointment process is initiated by the manager who is subject to the evaluation/reappointment.
  • For 2019 – 2020, all managers are required to complete a written self evaluation using the reappointment form.
  • The routing process of the reappointment form is unchanged from last year — the manager enters their self-evaluation and their supervisors’ enter their comments/feedback in a Word document, saves the document, and then forwards the Word document to the next person in the evaluation process.
