An employee who is absent from work due to the death of an immediate family may be granted a maximum of 5 sick days.
An immediate family member is defined as a parent, grandparent, parent-in-law, spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, sibling, aunt or uncle.
The employee must provide a copy of one of the following: funeral/memorial program, obituary, etc. via a time off request in Workday.
