New Online Website for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Insurance Enrollment and Changes.

Please accept our apologies for the short notice for this Benefits communication. The NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits informed Human Resources of these changes earlier this week.

The State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) Open Enrollment period for employees begins on October 1, 2019, and ends on October 31, 2019.

Effective January 1, 2019, New Jersey increased the state’s minimum hourly wage rate for non-exempt employees from $8.60 per hour to $8.85 per hour.

The Sick Leave Law extends earned sick leave benefits to employees who were not previously entitled to this benefit (i.e. adjuncts, temporary or per diem employees, and student workers).
