Effective January 1, 2019, New Jersey increased the state’s minimum hourly wage rate for non-exempt employees from $8.60 per hour to $8.85 per hour.

Effective today, the 2019 – 2020 reappointment calendar and reappointment form for Managers are available on the Human Resources website.

The Sick Leave Law extends earned sick leave benefits to employees who were not previously entitled to this benefit (i.e. adjuncts, temporary or per diem employees, and student workers).
